So you’ve booked a trip to New York City and you may be wondering where to eat. There are thousands of excellent places to choose from, so the experience of narrowing it down to just a few can be quite the challenge.
The places that you ultimately decide on are going to be based on where you are at, what kind of food you like, how much time you have and also what your budget is. Here are my suggestions for places to go that are easy to get to and fair in price, just hop in a taxi or take a subway ride there.
New York is very well known for the tasty pizza you can find there. Luzzo’s , which is in the East Village, is one great place to get Neapolitan pizza. I think their pizza is definitely some of the best I have ever had, and lots of other folks feel that way too. It is always fresh, hot and sized perfectly.
You may also want to try John’s Pizza on Bleecker Street in the West Village if you find yourself on the West side of town. This landmark restaurant is known as one of the best pizzerias in all of Manhattan, and commonly has a line that goes out the door.
When you are uptown, it would be worthwhile to go into an H&H Bagels store to get a delicious bagel, since they are another food that you shouldn’t pass up while in New York City.
If you find yourself downtown, visit either one of the two Murray’s Bagels locations on the West side. These are best when served piping hot, and taste great with any one of a number of different spreads.
Are your thoughts wondering to burgers? You will find some of the best ones in the whole world in New York City. Quite a lot of people think that Shake Shack has the best tasting ones. It is not that hard to find them and there are two main locations.
Madison Square Park is where one is located at. It is right inside this park and does not have any seating indoors, so this isn’t going to be good for you if it is cold outside.
The Upper West Side is where the other Shake Shack is located at. This location is indoors so the weather wouldn’t matter in this case. You will really enjoy the awesome burgers, as well as the shakes and fries, no matter which one you choose to go to.
